🚒 70 YEARS OF SERVICE — PBVFD 🚒
On May 7, 1956, the Port Bolivar Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. was officially incorporated as a Texas nonprofit corporation.
That means 2026 marks 70 years of service to our community! ❤️
Seven decades of neighbors helping neighbors.
Seven decades of volunteers answering the call.
Seven decades of protecting Port Bolivar and supporting our neighbors across the Bolivar Peninsula through mutual aid.
The trucks have changed.
The equipment has changed.
The community has grown.
But one thing hasn't changed — VOLUNTEERS still answer the call.
We have been waiting for one very special arrival before throwing our 70th Anniversary celebration — our brand-new Brush Truck! 🚒
Our new truck is still in the building process, and unfortunately it hasn't made its way to Port Bolivar just yet. We are hopeful it will be here this fall.
As soon as we know when it will arrive, we'll be sending out information for a special PBVFD Open House and 70th Anniversary Celebration.
